Math Competition
Have a fun experience learning how to solve mathematical problems with arithmetic, algebra, counting, geometry, number theory, and probability, with far more cross-over between the subject areas.
Science and Arts
Students will have chance to do hands-on projects, visit the world-class art museums, learn about Gershwin and jazz music, and expand their own understandings of the world through sciences the arts.
Programming: React!
We will learn about computer structures and how to use React to build web applications. We will cover the programming basics, such as logic and simple data structures. Finally, we will learn how to write our first app.
AMC10/12 Preparation
The AMC 10/12 (American Mathematics Competitions ) are designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills. The AMC 10 is for students in 10th grade and below and covers the high school curriculum up to 10th grade. The AMC 12 covers the entire high school curriculum, including trigonometry, advanced algebra, and advanced geometry, but excluding calculus. The AMC sets the standard in the United States for talented high school students of mathematics. AMC exams are so well designed that some top universities such as MIT now ask students for their AMC scores.
