Programming: Build your first smartphone application using React!

In this class, you will be building your first smartphone application using React! React is the most popular programming language for building smartphone applications. It is used by Facebook, Instagram, Airbnb, and many other companies. We will cover what React is, what a mobile app is, what a smartphone is, and the different parts of a smartphone. We will also cover the programming basics, such as logic and simple data structures. Finally, we will learn how to write our first smartphone app. 

Sciences: Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Space Technologies

Students will have chance to do hands-on projects of each topic. The training also includes writing a logical, well-organized lab report. More than 50 experiments have been designed. Each class will have opportunity to conduct around 5-8 selected experiments depends on the age and availability during the sessions.

English: Learning through stories about Californian entrepreneurs

Students will learn how to write an analytical argument and conduct short research projects to answer questions.
During the process, students will read stories about Californian entrepreneurs from the past decades, like Apple, Google, SpaceX etc. After listening to a story or passage selection, the student will recall relevant details about setting, characters, or events. The student will learn how to use precise words to provide detailed description of a story or events.

Art: Pollock, Gershwin, Pop Music, and American Modern Arts

American Modern Arts: The students will visit the world-class contemporary art museums in LA and Orange County and learn about the history of modern arts. 

Jazz and Pop culture: The students will learn about Gershwin and Jazz music, and how it shaped pop music and the American culture today.

Creative Painting: The students will learn and express their own understandings of cultures through the arts.
