Grade 3-6 Math Kangaroo

If you’re the parents of a child who loves math or is curious about math, you may have heard of a competition called Math Kangaroo. It is the biggest International Math Competition with 6 million students from over 80 countries in grades 1-12.
This may sound intimidating to some of you, but there are many ways for students to prepare and get the most of this opportunity.
The competition includes multiple-choice questions that require mathematical & logical reasoning skills. It gives students a chance to learn and improve their math and go beyond the traditional textbooks’ knowledge.

Grade 7-8 AMC (American Mathematics Competitions)

The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) consist of a series of increasingly difficult tests for students in middle school and high school. The AMC sets the standard in the United States for talented high school students of mathematics. AMC exams are so well designed that some top universities such as MIT now ask students for their AMC scores.
AMC assesses mathematical problem solving with arithmetic, algebra, counting, geometry, number theory, and probability, with far more cross-over between the subject areas than in nearly all classrooms. Tests vary widely in difficulty. All three of the tests are designed such that no higher mathematics is needed to take the exams.
